About Mark & Nick

In 2013, with his band from University of North Texas, Mark Randall experienced his first recording studio session at January Sound in Dallas, Texas. Eyes (and ears) wide, Mark knew his path would soon be shifting from musician behind his instrument to engineer behind his board. By the end of 2014, he had earned his Degree in Advanced Audio Recording from the Recording, Radio, and Film Connection. Mark then began his career at SG Studios in White Settlement, Texas, where he was an Audio Engineer from 2014-2016. In 2016, he began operating his own production company, Unfurled Umbrella. In 2017, he was offered to be the Lead Production Manager at Fort Worth’s awarded music venue, Main at South Side, where he stayed until its closure in 2022. Mark opened Blackstone with partner, Nick Tittle, in 2023. Together, their primary goal is to create a space that will further the goals of not only Fort Worth’s music community, but all art communities in the North Texas Area.

Self taught, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nick Tittle has been writing, playing, and performing music for two decades. Alongside his various performances and projects, Nick began using his skills as a singer, drummer, and guitarist to become the Music Director of School of Rock in Mansfield, Texas, where he taught until 2018. In 2016, Nick’s passion for production of recorded sound brought his attention to building an in-home recording studio, where he and business partner Mark Randall have since produced and recorded numerous singles and albums. Opening Blackstone in 2023 has the duo eager to create the sound-space for musicians to create, grow, and share their art.
